So Many Butterflies – Bibi’s Butterflies Collection: Spellbinders

Hi Crafty friends! Welcome back! I am so excited to be back today with a gorgeous new collection designed by Bibi Cameron for Spellbinders – Bibi’s Butterflies Collection! This release is so beautiful and truly so much fun! For today’s card I am using one of the die sets from this collection – So Many Butterflies Etched Dies Collection. So let’s get started!

I started by taping a piece of Canson Mixed Media paper to a hard board. I then applied Lindy’s Gang Magical Powders to the paper using water &magical powders. I used colors from the Industrial Chic Collection: Time Travel Teal, Shabby Turbine Teal, & Steam Punk Sepia. I added gold using the Glitzy Collection: Glitzy Gold. You can check out all of the Lindy’s colors below, if interested I would appreciate you using my link & code. Once my panel was dry I then die cut all the butterflies, as well as their bodies. This die set is amazing and comes with 5 butterfly sizes – so much fun! I then adhered my butterflies together using liquid glue and set them aside.

Next I used my platinum die cutting machine and ran the embossing folder of the month from February – Sketched Floral through using a piece of Neenah card stock. I then trimmed the panel using the Rectangle Essential dies. I then adhered this to an A2 card base.

Next I die cut some flowers and leaves from the Mini Blooms and Sprigs dies using the same colored background. I wanted to add a bit more dimension and detail to my card. I also die cut a thanks – die from Yana’s Layered Script Sentiments. I die cut the shadow in white card stock and the thinner thanks using the same teal washed background.

Next I started to adhere my butterflies and flowers to my card front. I used a combination of liquid and foam tape. I also then added a glimmer sentiment from the Splatter Sentiments collection.

This completes my card! I had a lot of fun with this collection and the butterflies are so beautiful! I adore this collection and I know you will too! Thank you for stopping by!
