Hi everyone! I am so happy to be back! I had a terrible cold all week and truly didn’t get to craft. I was in bed early, which is very different from me! I am usually a night person! I am beginning to feel a bit better, so I had some time to craft today!
I started by pulling out a panel I had started a couple weeks ago. It is the beautiful Be Kind set from (The Gray Muse) https://www.thegraymuse.com/ I love this set! I love the bold letters and the beautiful flowers. I wanted to give this card a vintage/monochromatic feel. So I used different shades of pinks and green.

I started by stamping this beautiful image on watercolor paper and heat embossed it using a white powder. I then used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor set to paint my panel. I am working on being patient with watercolor and truly letting the image dry between layers. I did add some gold paint to the leaves, as well as a white glitter paint to some of the flowers for added interest.
Once the main image was complete I then chose a light brown to paint around the image. I chose to do this to give this a vintage feel. I also painted the letters in the image a dark gray. I then added splatter to sections of the card front using 2 different shades of gold.
