Hi Crafty Friends! I am excited to stop in and share with you a beautiful new release at Unity Stamp Company! There are a couple new adorable gnomes, spring kittens, a floral, and a new stamp and stencil bundle designed by my dear friend Sandhya Iyer! Be sure to check out the awesome sale too – I have links posted to the sale as well at the bottom! You can see all of the new release here – Unity Stamp Company! For my first card I am using the set called By his Wounds.
For today’s card I wanted to showcase this gorgeous new stamp set By his Wounds. You can also find the stamp and stencil bundle here! I started by working with the solid cross image stamp in this set on Canson XL Watercolor Cardstock. I placed the cross stamp onto my Misti and placed my watercolor card inside the Misti. Once I determined the placement of the cross stamp I used my karin markers to add color directly to the stamp. I worked with rainbow colors of karin markers, adding ink 1 color at a time to a small section of the stamp. I would then lightly mist the stamp and then press the stamp down onto the cardstock. I waited a few seconds to allow the ink and color to set onto the paper. I continued this pattern using all colors of the rainbow on the cross stamp. I then set it aside to dry. Once it was dry I used the stamp in the set By his Wounds with the beautiful sentiments, I lined it up on my card stock and Misti. I tested it out on a piece of transparency to ensure it was lined up. Unfortunately I still didn’t get it exact! But I was happy with it and it is a homemade card right? I stamped this in Versafine Clair Ink. I then die cut the cross panel using a scallop die from Gina Marie Designs.
To complete the card I used a stencil from MFT (My Favriote Things) – Radiating Rays and ink blended with Distressed Oxide in Mustard Seed. I then die cut a double stitched rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs on my stencil background. I then adhered everything to a white card base. I love the simplicity of this card and I am incredibly proud of my friend Sandhya on this gorgeous release!
I also created a card using the new ADORABLE stamp set called Kittens Together! This set is so cute! It has 2 adorable kitten stamps, the other cutie is inside a rain boot! Come check it out! I created the background using Distressed Dots. I colored in the stamp using my Ohuhu Markers and used The Stamp Market Inks on the background stamp! I finished off the card with May Arts Twine!
