Hi Crafty friends! I am super excited to be back today to share a new Unity Stamp Company Membership post using the September Kit of the Month – Harvest Hues I had a lot of fun creating today’s ATC’s! I LOVE the Kit of the Month from Unity Stamp Company – each month you will receive an AMAZING monthly kit delivered right to your door full of red rubber stamps! The kit always includes free gifts too! It is so fun to see what they send! It is an amazing kit – you can find all the details here (Kit of Month Membership details). I have also linked more membership details below, as well as all of the Monthly Memberships from Unity Stamp Company! I know you will love them as much as I do! So let’s get started!
I started with a piece of Canson Mixed media card Stock. I die cut the card stock into 2 ATC’s using a die from Tim Holtz. Next I chose the beautiful corn stalk image from this kit. I prepped the surface with my anti-static tool and then stamped the image on both ATC’s using VersaeFine Clair Nocturne Ink. I then heat set both using clear embossing powder. I then randomly stamped text in the background using the Let it Go and Focus stamp set.
Next I chose 4 ink cubes from my Color Fuse Ink collection from Rubbernecker Stamps. You can see all the inks here. I truly love them and they are so fun and incredibly vibrant! I placed the ink directly to my mat, then spritzed a small amount of water. I then dipped the ATC panel directly into the ink. I then dried the ink using my heat tool and then continued this process until I had the texture I was looking for. I also applied water droplets to the panel to pick up some ink as well.
Next I added splatters in black to each panel using Lindy’s Gang Flat spray. I looked through my stash of extra background panels and chose a dry embossed panel and tore off a small section for the side of the ATC panel. Next I distressed the edges of the ATC’s and the embossed panel with distress inks. To complete the ATC’s I tied a piece of May Arts’s twine to both ATC’s, adhered the dry embossed panel, and chose 2 sentiments from the Harvest Hues Kit. I stamped these onto kraft card stock.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you will stop by the Unity Show and Tell Group on Facebook! It is an amazing group and we have so much fun! Come join us! I hope you will stop by today as well as we are sharing inspiration all day long using monthly memberships! I will see you there!
I will be back soon sharing Inspiration with the October Kit of the Month – check this out! It is AWESOME!
