Be Merry…Holiday Gnomes: Spellbinders

Hi Crafty Friends! I hope you had a great weekend! I am excited to be back with you today to share the adorable stamp set: Holiday Gnomes from the Spellbinders release – Be Merry! I love this new collection and these sweet gnomes are one of the items in this adorable collection! So let’s get started!

I started by stamping the adorable gnomes onto Neenah card stock. Aren’t these gnomes the cutest? I fell in love right away! I colored images with my Tombow ABT Pro markers! I love these alcohol markers! The colors are fanastic, bright, and blend beautifully! I used the following colors: p743, p755, pn15, p451, p502, p403. I worked from darkest to lightest. I then cut the images with my Brother Scan and Cut. I set these aside to work on other elements of my card.

Next I die cut several trees from the Bottle Brush dies. I used 2 shades of green card stock. Then I heat embossed each tree using Powdered Snow from WOW embossing. To create the hills on my card, I used the April 2021 LDOM from Spellbinders! I thought this would be a fun way to use this die! I chose 2 coordinating pieces of pattern paper to create the hills.

Next I created the sky panel using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and splattered this with some perfect pearls for a bit more dimension. I stamped the sentiment from the Holiday gnomes set.

I then adhered everything together to create a fun and sweet holiday scene using both liquid glue and foam adhesive!
