Hi Crafty Friends! I am super excited to be joining Spellbinders today for a celebration with the amazing and beautiful clubs for May! You will be inspired along the hop with beautiful inspiration and a chance to win an awesome giveaway! I will be sharing all the details for the hop below, as well as the giveaway details! Be sure to comment along the way for a chance to win! For today’s card I am sharing a project using the May 2021 Small Die of the Month and Clear Stamp of the Month.

To begin I started by die cutting the 5 dies included in this month’s kit using navy blue card stock. I also die cut the large die out of yellow card stock (Color Essential Card stock from Spellbinders) as well. I die cut each of these using my Spellbinders Platinum machine. On the navy card stock I cut all 5 dies and placed the negative pieces to the side. For the yellow I wanted to keep some of the negative pieces to insert them into the blue card stock. I then assembled the card by first adhering all of the navy blue die cuts to my A2 card base. I then filled in sections of the blue with my yellow negative pieces around the large die cut.

Once these were all adhered down it was time to die cut floral images. For the flowers and leaves in today’s card I used the Simply Perfect Layered Blooms die set from Spellbinders, as well as leaves from the April 2021 Large die of the month. All the flower and leaf images were die cut using Color Essential Card stock from Spellbinders (assorted pack). For extra shine, I added embossing powder to the large leaf die cuts. I then adhered all the floral images together and then added them to my card panel. I adhered several of the flower and leaf images using foam tape, others were glued directly to the panel. I then chose a sentiment from the May 2021 Clear Stamp of the month, stamped this in black ink on white cards stock, trimmed this into a sentiment strip, and adhered this to my card panel.
I hope you enjoyed my card today! Be sure to hop along – there is so much beautiful inspiration with these gorgeous club sets!
